This is my entry for the letter Y. My Y is represented by the yarn stamping I did in the background using the same color ink as the card stock. It is also for this week's TLC challenge to stamp with a leaf which is very shiny in the photo because it is covered with Versamark.
First, I stamped the background all over with my yarn wrapped acrylic block. Then I stamped my leaf and first put some copper embossing powder in the middle and followed that with gold around the edges. After heat embossing that (sorry the photo doesn't show the two colors very well), I heat embossed the sentiment in gold embossing powder. I added a few mostly clear sequins, rounded a couple of corners, and added it to the Crumb Cake base.
This is the fourth panel I made with this leaf as I was trying different colors. My first two were on Poppy Parade cs, then Soft Suede, then this one, and last black. Such a fun technique.
Thanks for the challenges and thanks for looking!

Stunning Catherine and you’ve motivated me to give the challenge a go if I can find a leaf lol. Tricky during spring. I love how you stamped your BG. So creative. TFS. Happy day
