You know, I REALLY hate the process of moving - packing up all that stuff and then having to unpack and find a space for everything. But having done just that this year, I'm finding the good part of it all is that everything is organized. I am having so much fun using stuff I've had forever but not in as organized fashion. It has really helped me in achieving my goal of looking to the scrap boxes and card part boxes, and my embellishment drawer before pulling out new.
For this card, I pulled out some small DSP squares that I had kept. I LOVED this paper and was determined to waste as little of it as possible. So, at some point, I had punched out some small squares from the scraps that were left and put them in a small zip bag to be pulled out and used later. I had also pulled out some 3-D Christmas stickers from K&Company that I have had for what seems like forever. (Are they even still in business?)
I assembled the card and liked it, but thought I might like it even more with a sentiment. Went through my Christmas sets and found an old one from Verve that had just the right one. Stamped and clear embossed and called it done.
Easy peasy.
I was inspired to make this card for Jeanne's DTGD challenge.
