I am so far behind on making Christmas cards this year but it's always fun to get one done for my young grandsons. I had tried several time to squeeze this idea onto an A2 card to no avail - but now that slimlines are becoming the rage, it was the extra length I needed to achieve my vision!
I printed my digi on blue cardstock but decided it needed a big yellow moon for effect so after some thought I took a piece of cream linen paper, sponged on a big yellow moon with Fossilized Amber then printed my digi a second time over the top of that. die cut my shape and carefully overlaid on my blue image. The bold sentiment was a gift from a teapot Tickle - in order to give the delicate swirls more stability, I covered the entire piece with versamark and Ultra Thick embossing powder. Heat set then repeated the process a second time for lustrous gel finish - attached to my card with Alene's tacky glue and finished with a scattering of gold sequin stars.

Linda, I love the silhouette of Santa and reindeer. You got such a nice gel finish look on the sentiment. Thanks so much for making a card for my challenge.

A terrific Christmas card, Linda. My favorite image for Christmas Eve is always thinking about Santa flying across the night sky with his talented reindeer!!
