Continuing the "Use My Stash" theme, I originally made these two tags as pulls for slider cards and then went a different direction But when I saw this digital stamp from Gerda Steiner again I thought they would make a sweet background for this sweet surfing dude.
Clouds were stenciled on a white panel then corner edged. Sloping hills were cut from brown bazzill cardstock. Tree was stamped, colored and die cut. Duck was printed, colored with Copics and fussycut. The sentiment was computer generated using Joint by Pizza Dude font and die cut. I cut off one side of the tag. Background was stamped on the card base and then everything was glued down.
I used a new color combo for me on the duck: Y00, Y32, Y17.
These cards will be included in a package for this month's Cards for a Cause -- W.H.E.A.T., which is an organization that sends cards and care packages to our deployed military.
Hope you are all enjoying a sunny, breezy day wherever you are. It's a bit too hot for me right now so I'm locked inside near the fan instead of outside in the sun. TFL.
