The Mixed Media Video Addicts are doing altered playing cards for their current challenge (MMJ03) and watching these videos:
I have never made an altered playing card so this was pretty fun for me. I am also a big Alice theme fan so I ordered the napkins in one of the videos. I made the cards over the course of the last week. Then, I was stuck. What do I do with them? What kind of card they would go on?
Then the IC challenge came up (Hygge &West) and I found this Foret (Plum) Notebook:
It gave me an idea of how I could put the cards in my journal. I found a fun Alice Post Card in my Stamperia Alice Paper Pack and added one of the flowers and some leaves from the pack as well.
A few butterflies and some coffee out of my cup worked perfectly for finishing it off.
I love how this came out. Thanks for the inspiration, Amy. I almost want to get some wallpaper after looking at the site, but I remember what happens when you don't want your wallpaper anymore and it was so traumatic that I couldn't even go down that road again - lol.
Can't wait to see what the other Mixed Media Video Addicts make. If you are addicted to watching videos, mixed media, and trying new things, we would love you to come play with us. This is our third challenge. Just use MMJ03 for this one when you load your creation (you can check out our other challenges in the MMJ01 and MMJ02 galleries).

I too am fascinated by those vintage Alice images, in fact I have a set of them, rarely used. I love your inspiration notebook and where it took you. Wonderful creation!

Oh my, Nancy, this is so totally perfect for both the MM challenge and the wallpaper inspiration. I love how you blended both the ATC playing card (aren’t they fun? Mini creations!) with a larger coordinated bg to create this beauty. So well done!
