For my card, I used a hippo and sentiment from MFT's Happy Hippos set, a bird from MFT's Birthday Chicks set and (inside) a sheep from MFT's Birthday Pals set.
I started by stamping, coloring and die cutting my critters. I cut blanks of the hippo and bird dies for added dimension (1 for the hippo, 2 for the bird).
I die cut an in&out stitched circle from a panel of Bazzill diamond bling and a cut a second from this cardstock for added dimension. I stamped/embossed my sentiment below the aperture.
I then used the diamond bling circle and marked off my grassy area and ink blended using DO peeled paint ink. I then used Memento summer sky dye ink to create my clouds.
I assembled the card, adding on a thin frame from my stash. Note that, since I had the spacer layer, I was able to get a slightly recessed look to my inlaid circle. Also, when placing my bird, I cut the one spacer layer so that the bird is 3 layers on the tail side and only 2 layers where covering the hippo. (Hope that makes sense)
Finished off the front by running a clear glitter pen over my critters, adding some white dots with a gel pen and adding some star sequins.
Inside, the sentiment is: ... TO EWE and I added in my sheep (posted separately).
Love how this came out. TFL!!!
