I used Bristol Smooth cardstock as it works well for watercolor. I stamped the flower all over the page using Versafine Black Onyx ink, then clear embossed the images. I pulled out a waterbrush and wet the leaves, then added ink with Old Olive. After the leaves dried, I began on the flowers. I wet the flowers, added Poppy Parade ink with the waterbrush, then let it dry. I outlined each image with a Pool Party marker. I found retired ribbon from Hero Arts in my stash that is still on the package with the Pool color listed. It worked perfect for this card. The greeting was stamped in Versafine and clear embossed. Love the stitched scallop dies from Gina Marie Designs and they worked perfectly for adding a little something to a simple card.
