I embossed my white cardstock then colored the raised areas with prismacolor pencils (Grass Green, Chartreuse, Aquamarine and a bit of magenta. Once the coloring was complete, I covered the entire piece with white acrylic paint applied with an old gift card. Set aside to dry - this took FOREVER . . .
Finally I got out my sanding block ( I may need to invest in a new one of these) I started out sanding lightly as instructed by the video and reinforced by those who had already tried this technique - nothing . . Applied more pressure - still nothing . . . finally I REALLY put some muscle into it and my colors started to emerge (see why I say I may need a new block?) Once i had exposed as much color as I could without damaging the paper, I covered the entire piece with versamark and then clear embossing powder. Heat set - wrapped my project with a pretty bronze ribbon to frame & define my sentiment and attached to the white card base.

I just bought a new sanding block, think I will not use it on this challenge. I love the pattern of your EF and the pretty colors you used and were able to uncover again. Your card looks awesome!

I'd love to touch this one. Hard to see exactly which part is raised. It's lovely and still vibrant. I think it's smiling at you from all the TLC and attention it received.

I NEVER thougt of my prisma pencils (or crayola pencils as being waterproof) but they worked magically on this. That is a beautiful piece of ribbon to support your sentiment. LOVE this.

You got a super result, Linda. I like your ef and love the way the ribbon picks up on the colours in the little berries/flowers. I left mine to dry overnight...
