For Jeanette's VSN Challenge to be inspired by a popular song in 1968. I selected âI say a little prayerâ. I chose this stamp set for the sentiment: Hugs Prayers Love
For my card, I inked up the foliage and touched the tips of the leaves with my Cajun Craze marker and then stamped off before stamping the background. I inked the flowers with Poppy Parade, used a finger dauber to remove the ink in the middle and another finger dauber to put on Mango Melody ink. Used the coordinating die set. Wink of Stella on the butterfly and flowers.
Creative challenge. Thanks for looking!

I love those vibrant flowers that you have popped up on the lower LHS of your card, they are GORGEOUS, and add some neat depth in color to what is on the base. SO beautiful!!! I really like your sentiment, the inked edges and I do think that prayers and hugs make a huge difference. This is really lovely, and I think it will be a huge uplift for the card recipient. The wood panel is a great natural base and wonderful contrast to the top layer with the sunny butterfly and flowers. I love florals and this has some lovely florals and an encouraging message--something so needed at the moment in our world.

Diane, your card is so pretty - with those gorgeous flowers and the woodgrain panel. The sentiment is perfect for your song choice, too! Thank you for jamming with me in the Summer of '68 VSN Challenge!
