Hi, Carla, and all! Happy summer! This is a fun challenge as I'm sure most of us would love to have our feet in warm sand at the beach!
I started by watercoloring the ocean by mixing turquoise Color Burst pigment with water. I added the foam to the water with a white gel pen. The sand was made by tearing the water edge then I darkened the edge with a Zig pen. I drew the scallop shell, driftwood, starfish, kelp and sea grass. I stamped the crab. I hope this will be a positive addition to the gallery. TFL!!! ~Chrysi

What a great beach scene. Your realistic crab and golden sand bring back memories of early teen holidays over in the west (a lot of Irish beaches are more like grit, ranging up to large pebbles, so the fine sandy ones stand out in my memory). Fantastic drawings of your own to add to the scene.
