I was dreading this technique - I have tried it a few times with no luck. Watched Lydia's video and it came out better.... I like it anyway so I am going with it.
Used the first less lines stamp I found in the assorted stamps box. Painted it to look like my husband's 1949 Ford truck rusting in our car port.
Good to learn and stretch - I am addicted to this challenge!
Off to see what everyone else made.

WOW!!! Nancy this is stunning with the old truck...love how you captured the vintage look of the 1949 Ford truck. Happy you joined us with this outstanding card this week. Really enjoyed seeing this so well done with the no line watercoloring. TFS Hugs

I felt the same as you, Nancy, but I pushed myself through it cause I love to water color and I love this new challenge. Great looking old truck with the vintage "rust" sections....makes this unique and a one of a kind~

A little rust just can't stop these well built old vehicles - they'll putter around forever with a little TLC. Great no line tribute and I especially like the patch of rust above the rear window (they all seem to develop some in that spot especially)

Nancy, your old truck is fabulous and good job with the technique. Bet your hubby likes this card, also. So happy you are enjoying the w/c challenges.
