I started with a large stenciled BG that looked watery to me and laid the large coral stencil over it. Spread the dimensional paste, lifted the stencil and then added 5 different EP. So fun and cool to watch bubble up and change. The BG was too light, so I sprinkled on some brusho and spritzed with water. That was fun to watch too as I tilted it and watched the colors run between the veins. I had the mermaid in my stash and dolled her up a bit with the double embossing, one that even glows in the dark, and then added an EF for more texture. Laid her over this orange/red rubbery thingy from my stash. Made 2 starfish with coarse pumice paste, double embossed again and stacked them for even more dimension. Learned a lot and had a blast. Thanks, Lydia.

This is just layers of fun . . . I am giggling because I do believe this is the first time I've seen a mermaid with barnacles . . .that must be why she glows in the dark!

This is an awesome card with so much texture! I noticed right away the star fish and how life like it was. The color, texture and shape of the mermaid is very appealing. I like the more simple shape of this one. Your description of your process is much appreciated also. It helps to know how you arrived at the finished product!
