As soon as I started working on a card for this challenge, I thought of a fellow teacher with whom I taught a long time ago. She was from Texas, and appropriately, loved yellow roses. She died many years ago, but I know she would have loved this card!
I included the June elements of roses (6, conveniently), yellow, silver and pearls. I stamped the image in silver, heat embossed with silver powder and painted with watercolor. Added some silver dots to break up the white BG (and to cover a smudge or two...)

Awesome take on the challenge. Love the way you incorporated so many of the June elements and associated your creation with a departed friend/colleague. A nice tribute.

How lucky that your stamp had just six roses (and very lovely ones). The pearls and the silver matting are lovely - the silver dots look good too. Every time DH sees yellowrose46's username, he says Texas, and then he says oh no, she's Canadian.

Very pretty! I understood your thoughts of your fellow teacher, a I thought of my grandmother with this challenge as she loved yellow roses. Love the silver stamping and splatter with the beautiful yellow roses. I like how you put the ribbon on the diagonal. Fabulous clusters of pearls. Wonderful card for June. TFS
