This card was designed for The Card Concept #137 Fun at the Lake Challenge using the long ago retired Angler stamp set. My Dad loves to fish and I thought this stamp would be perfect for his Father's Day card this year.
I am also participating in the following SCS Challenges:
USEIT2020- I had never inked up the sentiment from the Strong Ancher (Verve) set before and I have not used the Angler stamp set in a while (plus first time for the DSP pattern as well using brads, hemp twine and the embossing folder from my stash)
AOCC20- All Occasion Card Challenge - this is one of my June cards
WT768 Ways to Use It - Go With The Grain- used woodgrain background
Paper: Whisper White, Early Espresso, Mossy Meadow; retired SU Wood Textures DSP
Paper Size: a2
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, SU Markers, Derwent Watercolor Pencils, TH Antique Linen Distress Oxide, TH Vintage Tea Archival- see blog for colors and more details :-)

I had forgotten how much I love this stamp. Your coloring on it here is fantastic! My DH would love this card for Father's Day. I may just have to pull out that old set. Gorgeous card with the colors perfect and that wood grain paper! Love it!

Julie, your coloring just knocks my sock off! Straight to my faves. Love the fishing image, with those colors it has a marvelous vintage look. Beautiful layout and the woodgrain pp backs it beautifully. You could also put this in this week's WTUI challenge, Unused Stamp. Thanks for sharing and playing in my challenge.

Excellent Father's Day card. There is so much texture on this with the twine and all the other embellishments. It is so spot on too of men and their fishing gear. Love the colors and your skills are outstanding. TFS!
