Hello and TFL! Continuing my Tea Bag paper series : ). Using a ROUND tea bag today, circles are my favorite shape! hope you enjoy and here is the Tea Bag Tutorial from Tina, recently posted. Tea Bag Stamping Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
THANKS TINA, for the tutorial : )
I stamped the Vintage Burlap stamp on the Kraft color doily for a marbled type effect, like asphalt road. I wanted to add circles to coordinate with the bicycle tires. so all circles, it is! : )
I used Crushed Curry while stamping on the stamp platform, stamped several times and the color got darker until somewhat Tea colored. I daubed on More Mustard and BBSugar on the edges of the tea bag for more vintage.
I mixed the Vegas Gold shimmer paint with rubbing alcohol in a spritzer and sprayed it onto the Naturals White circle and then glued that circle inside the large stitched black circle (tire) trying to make it resemble the bicycle tire.
The friend i am sending this card to is my BFF since 5yr old, and we spent HOURS and MILES on our bikes together, she will love this card : ) and that's the reward we all get! enjoy this card and browse my gallery to see the other Tea Bag cards i have made this week (one is a flattened out piece).
printed sentiment on computer.
Take care and stay well, Teresa

Sweet Teresa, I love anything to do with tea. It's definitely my favorite over coffee any day! What a lovely card and beautiful texture and colors! Thank you so much for your lovely comment on my card and for welcoming me back to SCS! It's sure been a long time and a long, hard road to recovery. But we are so grateful to God for his healing. Thank you especially for your lovely cards you sent with some thoughts too about chemo and care. You are so dear, and I so appreciate you (and wish I could hug you IRL!). Sending hugs and love!! xoxo
