In addition to teapots and tea parties, our recipient Melanie likes teddy bears. So I used this cute image from Mo's Digital Stamps and it's the only teddy bearish stamp I have. I wanted to use non-traditional colors that felt more spring-like and happy so I went with the colors from this week's color challenge.
Nothing unusual here: stamp, color, die cut, glue. But I did think the card base was too blah so I stamped it with Hero Arts Envelope Pattern Background stamp just to add a little more texture. The sentiment is computer generated using Calibri and Bromello fonts.
I hope all these happy hugs, from bears to teapots, bring a bit of joy to Melanie. And, I hope you all find some joy today too -- maybe just a simple cup of tea will do. TFL

Oh.my.goodness.Debbie! What a totally adorable and charming card this is! The way you have colored this teddy bear is so realistic and really fabulous in pink! The little bee is so sweet too! Your expert use of colors, stamps, die cuts and this fabulous sentiment have made a card that Melanie will truly treasure! ~Karen.

Aw, what an adorable teddy! This is a beautiful card, Debbie, love the soft green and fancy die (looks like one I have called Spellbinders Timeless Rectangles). Love the circular die behind the teddy with the wonderful sentiment, too.

Just precious, Debbie. I love every little inch. I have the star die and had only used it once at Christmas, I believe. What a wonderful way you used it.

What a great sentiment, and I love the starry circle round it. Your pink bear is just the sweetest...I remember a childhood book which had a little pink bear which I loved.
