I almost convinced myself it was Wednesday when I woke up this morning, and then I realized today was color challenge day. Thanks, SCS, for helping me to know what day it is. I don't know about you all, but this pandemic has got me shopping! I sit around my house with nothing to do but make cards (OMG! It's like a dream come true), so all I think about it making cards and what supplies I wish I had. And then I get emails about sales and new products. Or else I come here and see the fabulous things that you all have and I want!
These colors had me wanting to do some ink blending and stenciling even though I don't have an exact match. I used Twisted Citron and Peeled Paint on the background with my new Stamplorations stencil and Lucky Clover. Then I embossed and sponged the sentiment and chose my new stitched scallop circle die for my circle for dessert. I realized that this looked like a stylized flower in a field, so I added in some leaves covered in Stickles. Probably should have used more Lucky Clover on them. Then I finished with some new Nuvo Crystal Drops. Not my favorite card ever, but it was fun to play with new stuff!

I have really been loving stenciling. I love the way you used it on this pretty card too. It makes such a wonderful bg for focal point of your card.

Love this pretty card- and your stenciling is wonderful too! I have been resisting buying. I do add things to a cart, but then I tell myself to use some of my (many) unused items first!

You had me laughing! But you are right. I think I've spent more money since being house bound that I would if we were out and about! But I got some great goodies!!! Pretty stenciling and love the circle die. I'd like that!

Yup, I'm in the same boat Jen LOL! But it is fun to have new inspiration for designing. And what you did with your new stuff is fabulous, with the mix of stenciled and die cut leaves, plus the sentiment circle. Totally love this!
