It's time for a new Color Challenge! Chris is hosting and has chosen the lovely combo of Shaded Spruce, Granny Apple Green and Coastal Cabana with a dessert option to use a circle. I've actually made two cards for this challenge so I hope you'll check out the other one.
For this card I used a technique I've seen Jennifer McGuire use multiple times, adding strips of card stock in various colors and sizes to a panel for a fun background. When that was complete, a vellum circle was adhered along with the die cut eucalyptus leaves and the sentiment. There's more detail over at my blog.
Thanks for looking and I hope you'll join us for the Color Challenge this week!

This is really fun Stef! I'm not sure I'd have the patience to cut and paste all those strips! The background is great and I love the contrast of the leaves and vellum.

Your different sizes of strips look Great on a diagonal, Stef! Beautiful card and use of these colors! Love the soft look of the vellum behind the leaves~
