Boy, if you have a cutting machine like Scan 'n' Cut and oodles of money, could you ever have fun with this site. Excellent, Angie! I don't have either so I will just enjoy from afar. I had fun with this creation.
One4joy sent me this green zipper a while ago, probably bought from Goodwill or the like, still in its package. I've kept it on my desk, just to remember I have it. Thank you, Susan, you are the best.
I used a succulent die to cut out the felt, edged them with chalks, and hot glued together. I was thinking I wanted a 'container' of sorts to put them in and there was the zipper, staring at me. I found the background in my stash, not sure how I did it, maybe some kind of glimmer sprays. Embossed it for added texture. btw, I had read that wool felt cuts the best; I had cheap acrylic, worked just fine.

This is so very creative Jean and absolutely gorgeous too. I love your zipper "container" that is just perfect for these wonderful succulents. I agree, having a scan n cut die cutting machine would be fabulous - maybe someday... Take care, Karen.
