Teapot challenge MMTPT614 is to find inspiration from 18th century multi-media pioneer Mary Delany. I enjoyed reading all about her while up with insomnia Monday night, and truly love her bold colors with dark background. Used a new to me single magnolia from Honey Bee. Thanks for looking!

Ooh, gorgeous. I'm thinking you must have coloured that entire background black after doing the beautiful flowers - hats off to you! I HATE colouring solid backgrounds, though maybe it's easier with Copics than it is with pencil or watercolour. I like the way you used vellum for the sentiment so as not to cover up any of the flowers.

I love those flowers - so bright and pretty. And love that sentiment even more!
