I love that the Thursday challenge this week was to use washi tape. The 20/80 rule seems to apply to me and my washi tape. I use 20% of my washi tape 80% of the time. So, I challenged myself to use washi tape that I've never used especially these plain solid colors. My daughter Aubrey picked out the combo for me.
I like washi because it's easy to pull up and reposition and it's somewhat transparent so when you overlap, you get a neat effect. Here, the yellow and pink made a little bit of orange. Also, instead of dimensionals, I've been popping up bigger panels like the white with 1-2 layers of cardstock underneath. That way, I can give a little dimension but not too much.
I also used Sabrina's cool tip for the die cut. She said you can put packing tape on your cardstock before cutting and it gives it a glossy finish. So easy! Thanks Sabrina!
