This LO is for my 2017 travel album for a trip to the UK and the Canary Islands surprising family.
On this day we were visiting Las Palmas. When we travel I always buy a postcard and a bookmark of each place we go to...if I remember lol.
I decided that for each port we visit I will start the first page with the postcard. This place has some beautiful architecture and we spent a whole day exploring it.
I also like to use memorabilia I bring back from trips...in this case the Cruise news which I simply cut up. The die cuts are out of part of the street map we were given when we got off the ship. I think my dear friend, Sharon, sent me these dies last year for my birthday.
I made the postcard a pocket and tucked some useful phrases in Spanish behind it that I cut out of the cruise newsletter.
This was an easy page..now I have to figure out how I am going to get 100+ photos of this day condensed onto a few pages.
TFL. Happy day

Jayne, this is awesome! I totally love how you use bits and pieces from your travels. The pictures are wonderful! What a great trip that was. Love the flower pots too! Super page. Hugz

I like your use of memorabilia, Jayne. I like to use the ship’s newsletter too, when I scrap our cruises. Love how you ticked the useful phrases into your page.

I really like the potted plants cut from the street map - very clever idea. I'm going to put that in my back pocket for a travel-themed layout. Wonderful page!
