Stacy, Stacy, Stacy,...down the rabbit hole I fell into those marvelous and numerous Pinterest tag art! I saw such beautiful tags. So I am bringing my take on visiting something that remains overwhelming to me. I know I've written before about deciding I should make an account for my art name. I have one board. It's titled: "I so don't wanta start any boards.....I fear I am falling into the time grabber that is beloved by millions, billions maybe?????"
From the depths of my gray matter, I give you, Ernestine! If you need a laugh, have a LISTEN. !
My Ernestine was stamped, embossed (her bouffant with Ranger 'Black Sparkle', fussy cut and paper pieced her blouse. Her face, nails, and hands were colored with Copics. She'd been saving the mega earring for such a day as this!
This whole card was sparked by the uber cool Listen Mixed Media panel I received in a TeaPotter swap from Jean (jmkanack), thank you, Jean. The base was another piece of DP from the Basic Grey 'June Bug' collection. An embossed (2 colors) strip of German Scrap was stapled along the side of the panel. I think it directs the eye up.
This was such a fun challenge...I realized I needed to be silly today. Working in a hospital laboratory, you are always on. I didn't think I was taking it home, but am I ever relaxed today after laughing myself silly with all the you tube videos from LT. Hope you'll answer the ringy, dingy...thanks for stopping by.

Aha!!!!!!! I have found you out! How did you ever go from 'listen' to 'Lily aka Ernestine'???? Amazing. I guess because you needed to be silly, rightly so. I always forget you have these crazy marvelous stamps until you feature one and then I think 'I wish I had that.' Favd.

The first thing I honed in on was Ernestine's hair - Love it -though I did guess wrong on the EP name - it looks a lot like my Black opal which I have been hoarding . . . now that I know there is something similar out there, I may feel more free to use it. The over-sized earring makes me giggle and wonder why I used to where things like that to work. Because one always has to come off in order to answer the phone . . .and it's usually it's still laying on the desk when we head home or out for drinks after work . . . Right Ernestine??

This is so fun and Ernestine's mega button earrings are the show stealer!! these were just so fun that I really want to spend the rest of the weekend making more. Fun way to use up those precious little left overs and a great way to try a little of this technique here and another one in a small area on some other part of the tag. I love collage. I guess it reminds me of my kaleidoscope type style of life and art.
