I started with a string art panel that has been in my stash for awhile. Stamped the Goethe saying in black then, since today's Teapot Recipient Katherine loves music, I added random imprints of part of a Stampabilities sentiment in old olive. Once dry I put it in a music EF, ran part of it through the big shot for heavy embossing and finished some of the areas around the large sentiment with a hammer for a fade away look. Stamped the Unity girl on white cardstock, colored with prismacolor pencils then fussy cut. I glued her feet directly to my bg but raised up the rest of her body with 4 layers of cardstock strips for some added dimension. Finished with a scattering of brightly colored sequins - they felt a bit TOO intense to me so overlaid each on with a clear iridescent sequin offsetting just slightly.

Oh Sabrina, how did you know I needed some inspiration? I have a whole bunch of those string pulls. Never thought to emboss them. I think it will make some nice sympathy cards. Favd. Everything is just perfect!

Great image and love that you highlighted her with that wonderful background. Especially like the music embossing -- it's perfect for the theme. Great fussy cutting.

This is so inspiring and so uplifting Linda. I love this wonderful Unity gal with this terrific sentiment, but it is your background that really captivates me with this string pull technique, the wonderful music words and the embossing. This is a real wow card Linda. I know Katherine will really appreciate and enjoy this fabulous card you made just for her. ~Karen.
