I did my background with the tissue paper watercolor technique. I used green & yellow Distress inks, since I wanted a "nature" like background for flowers. And then, I didn't know what to do with it! So I went ahead and glued it to a panel of white cardstock that I'd cut to A2 size, and set that aside to dry.
I finally decided to use the "Wildflowers" stamps & some embossing powder layering. I chose 3 metallic embossing powders. I stamped the first flower with Versamark ink, and heat embossed with copper. I continued in this manner, alternating colors. Finally, I added a couple of "filler" flowers lower on the panel and embossed with copper.
I stamped the greeting (from "Mondo Hydrangea") with Cobalt Archival ink onto a strip of vellum. I ran that through my Xyron Sticker Maker, and adhered it to my panel. Finally, I matted the panel with navy cardstock & adhered it to my white card base.
