My card for Lee's (LuvLee) lovely VSN challenge, Wildflower Child, to use wildflowers on our cards, instead of "hothouse" flowers.
Whenever I have a minute, and some extra coffee filters (usually from doing some heat embossing), I make coffee filter backgrounds to have on hand. So this went together quickly! Stamped the wildflower onto the coffee filter background piece with Tuxedo Black ink, tore around the image & adhered to a scrap of PP I had. Tore around that. Stamped the Flourish Background stamp onto the Crumb Cake CS with Crumb Cake ink, & distressed the edges. Layered it all together on the card front.
Stamped the sentiment on Basic Black CS with the Craft White ink, heat embossed with Winter White EP, distressed the edges & popped it up on the card front over a loop of the linen thread.
TFL!

This is really gorgeous Liz! You sure made this wonderful coffee filter background sing with these lovely wildflowers. I love the mix of elegant and rustic elements too! ~Karen.

HOW PRETTY is this, Liz!!!! LOVE the backgrounds you created for your "wild flowers!" (Sound like someone was thinking of Sense & Sensibility with the line, about wild flowers & "hot house" flowers! LOL LOVE that story!) SUCH A BEAUTIFUL CARD & BIG INKY HUGS for coming over to visit!!! ;)<3
