This is my last VSN card! Hooray! I enjoyed it more than I thought I might. This card is for Lydia's stamp etching challenge and also for today's WT, to use knots.
I have some open area flower stamps but I didn't think they were big enough, so I decided to use a funky flower from a coloring book. I used black along with some colors. Mounted it on another layer of cs for stability, then popped it up on an ai background, made with a gel plate, hand sanitizer (!) and ai. I've had the flat sequins from Doodlebug forever, thought they'd add more funk in bright colors. For the WT, I added a twine bow and a sentiment with some French knots. Do I know how to do French knots? Yes. Am I good at it? I would say that's a no. Me and a needle and thread...not so great.

What a fun image, Jean. I like the little ones with circles on the end of stalks - they make me think of tails! This is a technique I really like but don't often do, I don't have the patience for a big image, or the skill to grade my strokes. Your French knots look pretty good from here - and I know they're harder on card than on fabric, so kudos to you.
