I had such fun making this card. I heat embossed the rose and then used a technique I learned from Jennifer McGuire to do faux watercolor. I took my distress ink cubes and just swiped color where I wanted it on the rose, not worrying about blending. I used three colors of distress ink on this rose. Once happy with the color coverage, I sprayed it liberally with Perfect Pearl water. This acts to blend the color and add shine.
Using a plumber's gasket, I dry embossed the Country Garden die into the metallic paper. I heat embossed the sentiment, then trimmed the cream panel, adding the rose on top.
Thanks for the fun challenge, Misti! Thanks for looking!
