Card for Melody's (lacyquilter) intriguing VSN challenge, Sketch. She posted a sketch for us to follow for this challenge.
This card did NOT turn out the way I pictured it in my head, lol! But here it is anyway.
Stamped the flower stamp from the SU set onto the alcohol ink background scrap with Versafine Vintage Sepia ink. Heat embossed with Ranger Distress EP, following the directions. Stamped Happy Birthday from the Bo Bunny set onto a scrap of PP with Versamark, & heat embossed with the Detail Copper EP.
Followed the sketch, created angled panels with the PP, and cut thin strips out of gold CS, coppery textured CS, & a patterned paper. Rounded the corners on the flower panel & layer, & on the sentiment panel, sponged all the edges with Walnut Stain. Popped the flower panel & sentiment with dimensionals. Got carried away & added a LOT of the chocolate 1/2 pearls! :-)
TFL!
