This card was inspired by Tuesday Morning Sketches #547 (http://tuesdaymorningsketches.blogsp...tches-547.html) and the lovely paper pad I won in their challenge two weeks ago. One of the papers was of an imaginary city park with English names. I used that paper and this week's sketch to create my card.
The card base is Stampin' Up! (SU) Old Olive cardstock. The powder blue mat is from my scrap drawer, as is the lighter green oval.
I used the long single-line embossing die from SU "Stitched Nested Labels" dies to emboss the vertical line on my tall narrow Pear Pizzazz panel.
The sentiments is from a 2005 SU stamp set called "Sincere Salutations". I chose it because the park seemed so peaceful, that it would be the perfect place to sit on a bench and think about someone you cared for.
This card was fun to pull together because I challenged myself to not only use this week's TMS, but also a pattern from the paper pad I won. Thank you Tuesday Morning Sketches for the inspiration and the means to implement the vision!!!
I am rating the difficulty of this card as a "2" out of a possible "5" because it is straightforward with no need for fancy skills.
