I love the fun lion used in the set of cards on the Ellen Hutson blog, but I don't have a lion so I used one of the T. Holtz crazy dogs. This is a birthday card for one of my grandsons and his favorite color is green, so a green dog it is! The dog was stamped, colored with distress markers and use of a water brush. The happy part of the sentiment was cut from a piece of alcohol ink BG I'd made, similar to the roar on one of the sweet lion cards. The rest of the sentiment was stamped on the cool caribbean panel, the elements added and that was placed on a white card base. Here's the link to the E. Hutson cards.

funny true story, the die I used for frames has the words good times and I got so frustrated trying to line them up I left them off, so I really love that your letters are so free flowing

HB to the boy who loves green. I'm glad you explained. I thought the pup might be seasick!! Fun card. Best to you and Bill.

I've seen that dog used before but never noticed that his tongue is shaped rather like a heart. I rather like the walk on the wild side with a green fur!

Oh, what a fun set of cards to inspire your darling pup! I love the alcohol ink backgrounds. Sort of wish I picked up the large pack of Yupo at Christmas!
