"You've Been Framed!" is the title of this week's Teapot Tuesday Challenge. Susie has challenged us to use a frame on our cards. I followed the directions in the Double Matted Frames tutorial to make a frame to highlight my image of Fluffles as he tries to save a bouquet of flowers from the grasshoppers!
The image is colored with colored pencils, and I added some grass for Fluffles to stand on. I also colored the bitty flowers on the sentiment.
I used the Teal Zeal marker (brush end) to "edge" all the panels.
I popped the frame panels up on the image with dimensional tape. Added the brads to the sentiment strip.
A fun and easy card (why haven't I made more of these??), and I hope it brings some cheer to our recipient this week! TFL!

Oh wow your double matted frame looks great Liz (thanks for inspiring me to give this a try). I adore little fluffles! Thanks for bringing this gem to Joanns teaparty.

A really cute card, Liz. Your framing is so nice, and I'm sure it looks great popped up. I like the way the flowers are brought back in on the sentiment panel and the rounded corners with brads are nice finishing touches~

Oh Liz, this card has me smiling really big today. Fluffles is so adorable and made even more so with your double matted framing around him. I love how you rounded the corners on your sentiment layers and added these wonderful flowers beside the sentiment too. You think of all the details and it really shows. I know Joann is going to adore this beautiful card you made just for her! ~Karen.

Aw. I love Fluffles. Nice to see him in the gallery. I like the matching flowers on the sentiment, too, and the way the brads pick up on the polka-dot paper. Funny, I have this stamp and I never thought of it as Fluffles trying to rescue the flowers. Maybe because we always used to try to catch them and I don't think we ever succeeded.
