Susie is our hostess for the Teapot Tuesday challenge this week - you can find it HERE. Didn't she do well to find a teapot with both a kitten and a Yorkie, both of which this week's destination likes. It brought back memories of my job in Yorkshire and walking the owner's little Yorkie in the gardens - the daffodils were out, I remember.
However, I chose to go with hummingbirds, another of Joann's likes. I was hoping that it might enable me to buy the cute Pretty Pink Posh set, but it was out of stock in the UK supplier. And I have three hummingbirds already, so that wasn't a problem . I used this one from ODBD, stamping in blue lagoon and embossing with clear on watercolour paper, and colouring with distress inks. I used those to colour the bee balm too, adding Liquid Pearls for the pollen. The frame was already on my desk, so I'm afraid I didn't follow up on the great tutorials that Susie listed. The only one I haven't already tried is the Border Frames.
I rubbed some metallic rub-on over the frame to add a bit of colour, and found some suitable vintagey paper to use for the base. Cut the trellis from white, popped the frame up on foam tape over the image, added some flourishes under the image and finally added the hummingbird.

This is just spectacular Sabrina. I LOVE your bee balm and how you have framed it out so beautifully. The garden trellis with trailing vines is such a perfect backdrop for your bee balm and for your happy hummingbird too! Joann is going to adore this gorgeous card you made for her. ~Karen.
