I made this card for the letter Q Alphabet Challenge. The Q in this card is this quilt design.
This fun Magenta image is stamped and heat embossed 4 times in total - 2 times on a 3 3/4" white card square (or size needed to just stamp your image), 1 time on a 3 3/4" pale plum square and 1 time on a 3 3/4" elegant eggplant square. You actually get 2 cards when you do this so that is why you heat emboss on 2 white card squares. The white layer is your base layer.
With a sharp scissors cut the stamped/embossed squares out from the elegant eggplant and pale plum image panels. Then cut the pale plum squares diagonally all in the same direction and glue over the white card base, matching up the pattern perfectly. Now cut the elegant eggplant squares in half diagonally in the opposite direction you did the pale plum squares. Glue the elegant eggplant pieces in place over the pale plum and white pieces, matching up the pattern perfectly. This is such a fun technique to do and looks great in many color combinations.
Adhere quilt to a layer of Perfect Plum cardstock and adhere to a Pale Plum card front. Die cut sentiment from Perfect Plum cardstock and adhere below quilt.
Thank you Ann for a great challenge and thanks for looking today. ~Karen.

Quite the accomplishment, Karen! The squares match perfectly. Amazing technique. Love, love the quilt look. The fine heat embossing looks like it could be silver thread in your quilt. Glad to see the plum colors used again. Fabulously done. Love it! Into my favs. TFS

Wow! So much work and detail in this beautiful card! I love all the layers of embossing. This stamp reminds of the Outlines stamps I used to use all the time! I'll have to dig them out again! You've inspired me!
