This is a quick LO I did yesterday. It's part of my travel album to the UK on a surprise visit to see my sister who was recovering from major surgery. This day we went to the outlets about 45 mins from where my sister lives. After we both shopped to drop, with our hubbies in tow, you would think that was enough. Nope. We headed into town later that day so I could visit H&M to look for a specific top of theirs I like. They didn't have it..boo!
I thought the lady skateboarding with her bags in tow was how I used to be. I no longer shop *wink*...not much lol. Marie Kondo got to me lol.
Back to the LO. I fussy cut a couple of items out of photos and plonked them onto the other photos. I love the architecture in the UK and the bottom photo is of the town where my sister lives. The photo on the top right is the choccie dispay at my favourite choccie shop in the UK....Thornton's. We always go for a coffee and cake when we are in the UK lol.
The tag goes into the side pocket but I left it out for the photo. The ticket was stamped using TH's awesome ticket creator stamps...love them. I used antique linen to give it an aged look. Added the smiley faces...I love smiley faces. The clock was added as usually me and my sister are always chasing the clock when shopping lol.
I've just realised I didn't distress the edges of the page..must fix that. TFL. Happy day

This is a fabulous page. Love all the elements, especially the skate boarding shopper! I can believe that is you! Great idea to fussy cut items out of the photos. All the elements add great interest!

This is my kind of page, Jayne. Great size, lots of pictures, tons of layers and little things tucked in. Another fab creation. I know this scrapbook is wonderful! Hugz

Oh my goodness Jayne, this is so fun and so playful and such a great way to remember a fun day of shopping with your sister. I am sorry you could not get the top you wanted at H&M, but I sure am glad you have these wonderful memories to cherish of this trip. ~Karen.
