I love this hummingbird stamp and love to see them in my yard. Last year I didn't attract many but I'm going to try some other flowers this summer. This card was fairly easy...the dp goes with this stamp set so I chose to highlight the pretty flowers on it and have the hummer just become part of the floral display. I added some liquid pearls to the flowers and stickles to the bird.

Beautiful, Polly with the sweet hummingbird. Nothing more soothing than watching them flutter. My bird number has been down this year. Maybe they're waiting for warmer weather. Hugs.

I just moved my shrimp plants closer to my house so I can see my hummingbirds better. I love the wood and doily on this for the texture and the sweet hummingbird. I'm sure it will bring some cheer to Kristine.

I think birds in general are getting more scarce. Not good. And hummingbirds come and go so quickly. So lovely, Polly. Thank you from the bottom of my heart on behalf of Kris. She will cry.

Beautiful, Polly. I'm so glad you used that stamp...it was my first thought,. Beautiful paper too. I always think their designs are lovely, but the weight of paper makes international shipping too costly generally. And anyway I need to use the papers I have, not get tempted by more. Actually I was hoping to discover how you'd created that beautiful background, LOL.

I'm betting the stickles enhanced hummer is just amazing IRL (always so sad that the camera does not pick up the shimmer & shine). I thought perhaps the interesting bg pattern was stenciled but I didn't see mention of that in your accessory list . . . but an overall soft & pretty anchor for those big blooms.
One year I planted a packet of wildflower seeds called bee & butterfly attractors and while I did see more butterflies in my garden, I ended up with hummingbirds EVERYWHERE!
