It's Tickle Tuesday and Jean Bean is our guest hostess! She's given us a fun kintsugi challenge. I learned things today. My card for a teapotter has a slightly cracked but beautifully repaired teacup. I paper pieced the cracked teacup. I also had a fabulous crackle background stamp that I thought would be perfect to emboss in gold for the background. I've used Chris's lovely colors today too and even squeezed a piece of vellum in there for dessert!

Yay, Jen. I guess I'm a born teacher, although I did not like teaching hoards of kids, so I'm happy you learned something. I'm always looking things up. Your card perfectly shows this technique and I'm happy you played. Colors too....well done!

Nicely done, Jen! I almost used a crackle stencil on my card base but was concerned with how well it might emboss - the Stamp was a fantastic option and much easier to control. I like the repeated mini heart in both the gold repaired teacup and the bg panel peeking out from behind your cup.

Beautiful design...I am in love with all the gold on the bg. How great that you were able to work in the CC colors!
Enjoy your vacation! Rest up and relax...;)
