This is another LO for the Mix challenge and also the Alpha challenge. A= Angels sing
The photos aren't great in this LO, however I have 4x6 copies that will be included in a pocket at the back of the album.
This is another page continuing our evening in Ashover in 2017 when we visited the village to see our nephew switch on the Xmas tree lights. Afterwards we joined the villagers in the church to sing carols, eat mince pies and drink mulled wine. Santa also paid a visit and the choir and the vicar were also in festive dress.
The church and its grounds are beautiful, as is the village. I love churches and their history. This one particularly brought me joy and peace. I was grateful to be able to participate in the whole event and evening.
TFL. Happy day

I bet a Christmas back home in the UK is a totally different ballgame to what they are for you now in Australia. I agree, I love old churches. I worked in one place near Newmarket where they had an old 15th c. church in the grounds, it was very peaceful to go and sit in. But I'm glad I was there during an Indian summer ;-). Even at that it wasn't exactly warm.

Oh, my goodness, Jayne. How wonderful to see this collage with one of the best Christmas carols ever written. It is a favourite of mine! Love the distressed brick background. We visited the old churches in Belgium when we were there so seeing this is bringing me back wonderful memories too!
