I made this card for last week's Teapot Tuesday Challenge. Polly is our hostess and she has a great challenge for us called, "Far Away Places." This does not look like a far away place card, but whenever we go on vacation, I have to find flower gardens of some sort because I love to see the different varieties of flowers different regions have. Also, the recipient is one of our own scs friends and she loves the color blue so I combined flowers and blue for this challenge.
This card also fits this week's Alphabet Challenge for the letter S. The S's in this card are the Simon Says Stamp Spring Flowers stamps I used, the word sending and the Catherine Pooler Suede Shoes ink I used on the sentiment panel.
A blue rectangle panel was cut from Bashful Blue cardstock. Then a stencil placed on top and bashful blue ink was lightly applied with a makeup brush. Removed the stencil, then die cut this piece using a postage stamp die. Stamped the flowers and stems, colored them with copic markers and die cut them. The sentiment panel was stamped in blue ink and fussy cut out.
This card was a lot of fun to make. Thank you Polly and Ann for the great challenges and thank you for looking. ~Karen.

Sharon is sure to love this sweet, beautiful card. I love the flowers and the stencil on that back panel really took it up a notch.

Oh, my, I just love this. I have that Fancy Postage die, so I just love how you used it on your stencilled panel! Love your copic coloring. Sharon will love this!

Lovely card, Karen! The stenciled tone-on-tone background is so pretty. Awesome flower. A cheerful card in Sharon's favorite color! Super ideas for Letter S. I like how your card represents your travels, too. Love it!
