The brown bg is faux leather. I took craft paper and spread brown liquid applique on it in a thin layer, then use the heat gun to dry it.
This is also my first attempt (and I mean attempt) to case Kittie747's wonderful trees. I definitely need a whole lot more practice to even begin to come close to her wonderful cards!

The bear stamp is a Stampa Rosa stamp G-2051 and I believe I got it at Michaels - I also think I saw one there just this week, so they may still have it. It's a 1999 stamp - good luck -- and thanks, everyone for such nice comments.
