Today we are to be inspired by our calendars. Well, I use two - one by our computer & one in the craft room. My husband must get 50 calendars sent to him every year. We keep two & the rest he takes to the Senior Center. Anyway ... by the computer, I have a calendar that I cut in half & only the dates show. Since we are old & retired we have to mark the days off with a black sharpie - thus the MFT DSP. My craft room calendar has a beautiful wintery scene. It reminded me of this Serindipity mill stamp. I tried to make it wintery by using white acrylic paint pounced onto the trees, some on the mill & rocks too. I tried to give the water an icy feel by using light Pool Party & Balmy Blue blends. The sentiment is from Here's a Card set. I die cut with a double stitched frame.
Phew! Long winded!!!
Thanks for stopping by.

You nailed that wintry feel and I love the bg to reflect marking off the days on the calendar. Thanks for bringing your beautiful card to my challenge.

You have sent me in a spin, girlfriend. I'm laughing so hard, Mike had to come over to see what's going on. Thanks for the giggles. Love this scene and your perfect framing of it, Karen! Beautiful card~

I like your winter mill scene with all the extra chilly touches, and I enjoyed your explanation /thinking behind the DP. Certainly I know I find it easy to lose track of what day it is during the holidays.
