My calendar was a gift from my niece Emily....she knows what I like...Can you guess what it is?? Of course it's an Edward Gorey one. And as it happens I have a few E. Gorey stamps so I made a card in his style..using a patterned bg which I stenciled and kept it mostly black and white with a pop of red. I'll be sending this to Em for Valentine's Day ;)
USEIT2020-I broke out this skinny decorative tape...first time it's been used..yikes!

So stylish and creative! How fun to make a card for your niece in the same style as the calendar she gave you. The stencil background is terrific. Love the touch of red and the red gem heart. Great card!

Yikes...I knew right away! And what a fabulous tribute to the artist and your sweet em. Love the skinny tape...seems I have that in my inventory too. Love the skinny heart upon the feminine hand.
