Mary's lovely colors with winter for desert were perfect for this snowman digi that was on my list to be used. I realized that I had the perfect Recollections paper pad with just about the right colors for this challenge, so I used that for the background and for paper piecing the snowman's scarf. I used SC193 which had three strips across it. I almost used ribbon, but decided that this washi tape was a pretty perfect color too. I've found I'm much more inclined to use washi tape on my projects if I stick it to white cardstock first and then apply it to my card. I printed most of the sentiment and then die cut the "snow" from DP and sponged some Grape Jelly ink to make it stand out better. The finishing touch was a punched snowflake from one of my Christmas CraZy swaps. I layered them up for dimension and then painted on some Nuvo Dream Drops for an iridescent shine.
I'm off to Ohio today, so I've got my My Sweet Petunia Studio Bag ready to pack up with my necessities!

Just a perfect combination of papers. Adorable snowpeep. Have fun with your travel crafty bag...I’d have loved to have had an artful bag, back in my day!
