I was definitely challenged in adding dessert to Mary's pretty color challenge this week. Her colors choices are Highland Heather + Gorgeous Grape + Mint Macaron with Winter for dessert. I confess this is a stretch but winter means flu season and I decided to make a get well card since I don't really send many winter cards after the holidays.
This is a little different style for me but I enjoyed working on it! I hope you can join us playing with these gorgeous colors.

Well, look at you with all the layers and coloring and everything LOL! Chris, you did a fabulous job with your beautiful card for this challenge, and I think your reasoning to include dessert is spot on! The tea cup is delightful and I love the sentiment over the vellum die cut!

Love how you tucked your tag around that very inviting cup of warmth!

JUst beautiful, Chris. I love the piece of vellum you added, and since we hear a lot about the flu in the news, making a Winter get well card is smart!!!
