This card is for a friend of mine in Canada. He owns a 1953 Packard (I think). Yes - it is a lovely minty green with dark green trim. When I was holidaying in Canada a few years ago I had the privilege of being chauffeured around in Miss Daisy - and down to Waterton Lake for the day. It was a wonderful experience.
I know this card is not a Packard - but seeing that I am a little short on Packard Stamps in my collection I had to substitute this one. Its more 1930ies instead of 1953.
The image is stamped and embossed with Brilliance ink. Coloured with water colour pencils. The trim was then coloured with gold and silver Wink of Stella. Fussy cut the car and layered it up on assorted design papers.
Enjoyed my afternoon playing around with this card.
I will put this card in the mail and hopefully my friend will receive it before his birthday. The mail from here was been much better over Christmas - only taking three weeks instead of the usual 6-8 weeks!! Hope it stays like that.
Hope you enjoy.

Fabulous old car! The lighter color makes it pop against the darker background. Terrific papers and elements. I imagine your friend will enjoy this card. What a wonderful experience to have been driven around in a classic car. Thanks for joining in with the Sketch Challenge!
