This week's Tea Party is celebrating the Chinese Year of the Rat and our cards can go to someone we know.
I chose the blue, green & gold colours from Jacqueline's list. I smeared the ink onto foil paper, sprayed with water, and placed my glossy c/s onto this. Once dry, I added the gold glimmer mist. Not so easy to see - I do miss the Tattered Angels gold mist I had!
I thought I would go for extra cookies and use an image with mice, 3 mice as in one of the lucky numbers in the Year of the Rat. I printed out this cute Summer image and coloured using my derwent coloured pencils. Adhered the image to the framing and added the gold accents and sentiment. I used a gold marker pen to put a gold border around the edges of the glossy c/s and the mice image.
I know just who I will send this card to. Thanks for the challenge, Jacqueline. TFL!

Oh wow, Sue - that background is magical, totally amazing. Love it with the gold, too. I bet you enjoyed feeling cool while making this in your still high temps.

Sue, your card is just so cute for a friend. I really like all the gold accents you used. I can never remember to use my gold marker pen.

Sue this just sparkles - and while it's hard to catch the gold glimmer mist on computer the rest of your gold embellies more than make up for it. Fun summertime HM design - I don't think I've ever seen that one.
