Fun and easy technique today. My word dies are all pretty skinny and while I did stripe the hello with black and white DP, I wanted to make some stripes that showed, so I also striped a heart with some random strips of DP. I bought myself a Xyron sticker maker last year, so that made this card a whole lot easier for me.
Iâve added a twist to my crafty resolutions for 2020. Each week I need to check off these seven boxes - an old TLC challenge, using DP, using old recycled cards, using embellishments/stickers, using something from my box of treasures, using an old never used stamp. Iâve started this week by checking off 3 boxes - old stamp (the letters that I used to make my background), embellishment (white enamel dots on the heart), DP. This Letters stamp is one of those that isnât very me, but I canât get rid of it because I might need it some day. Seems like it could be good for collages.

Way to go, halfway through your checklist already! That's a beautiful stamp, no, you can't get rid of it. I like your double helping of stripes - and I bet the Xyron did make it easier. I have the X, but sometimes it's just too narrow.

You sound like me...it’s not really me but I might need it some day. This is a sweet creation and I like how you carried the design into your heart, too.

First, I admired all the work you went into gluing strips for such a delicate word die, Jen. Secondly, your heart is wonderful with your pretty combination of DPs. You are one organized lady to have all these lists and requirements for the cards that you create. I'm in awe!

I "suffer" from skinny delicate words, too, so didn't even try with those - Surprisingly, I can see some of the pattern especially in the darker sections of the word which is easier for my wonky visioned eyes to focus on!
