This is for this week's Mixability Challenge - Blue Christmas. I am done with Christmas cards this year so went with a generic style card. I am also adding this to this week's WT771 Challenge - Visions in Vellum.
I sponged blue ink through the stencil and then stamped the lacy image over the top in lime ink. Adhered to the closest colour c/s I could to the Pantone Classic Blue. I die cut the butterfly twice - once with the blue c/s and then using vellum. Coloured the back of the vellum butterfly, using copics, and added the rhinestones.

Beautiful card, Sue. I love the rays in blue and that wonderful lace stamp. And, such a lovely butterfly.

Oh, beautiful!! Love the combination of stencilling and stamping, and your layered butterfly is just lovely. I thought it was rather a cold shade of blue, but you've given it a lovely Spring look.

Love how those rays put the focus on your beautiful butterfly! The layered wings add a feeling of flight, nice touch to use vellum. Thanks for playing in my challenge, your card is a Vision in Vellum.
