George, our Golden, represents my mornings. I'm an early riser, so when I get up so does she. And the first thing she wants is her breakfast! I fill her dish & out she goes. We play a game of hide the treat stick & when she comes in, she'll smell my hand. Then she is off looking for her stick - one of those that's good for her teeth & gums.
I colored her with Prisma pencils & blender. The photo looks a little more brown than the actual card. I think it's hard to get that awesome fur look that Dini - I don't have her mad coloring skills!! She smiles too when you rub her head!
So, this is my morning. How's yours?
Thanks for stopping by.

I LOVE your morning! My Fiona used to follow me everywhere and wake ME up at 5 to go out and eat. She passed away in August, but my other dog, Sophie, sleeps in like a teenager! I love your sweet coloring and those images!

A tremendous card to celebrate your morning ritual with your sweet furry family member, Karen. I enjoyed reading about it. I think the fur looks great....and love that smile on her face. Super quote.

What a fun card, Karen! I can keep my Abby in bed for a few hours but then she wants food. Amazing that they can tell you we they want! Great looking card!

I love George (the name of one of my orchid plants, the other is Blanche!). George looks like a fab addition to your family. Give George a hug from me, mf!! Your card is wonderful!

I enjoyed reading about your sweetie, George, and how she brightens your mornings! Your Helen Keller quote is profoundly beautiful and a reminder to enjoy those perfect moments.
