This was done jump-started by this neat card in Susan's gallery because, the green and brown color combo jumped right out at me. (and I am in Christmas mode) so, instead of stamping and coloring deer I decided to switch to a tag and cut the deer layer of this die with canvas paper and colored it with distress oxide inks. and then I decided it needed some shadows so I added that with some almost dry markers here and there. I did use liquid glue to attach that to the tag base part of the die and I did slide it so, even though it dries clear it also becomes a resist when you are doing shadows lol.
The canvas paper is really a cool texture though so I will put a cropped shot up on the blog after dinner. I have to remember what die set that bitty tag is from. There is a closer look at the deer here on the blog. Susan, I hope you like this and enjoy your week, Thanks for this challenge Julie & tfl.
